A place where I would like live - Post7

Hello partners!

I think that exist meny places where I would like to live, I will writte about one place but I will not necesary be married with this option, because exist so meny world for know and discover than only choice one place could be overwhelmin. 

Today I will choice Valparaiso, I always had felt a deep atracction for this city and when I was a little kid I visited frecuently El Puerto, because my big brother lived there.    If I lived in Valparaiso I could work in some school making class of dance or in a academy, maby I could leave my historial profesional in the culture ministery. None place is perfect to work being dancer but none place is not perfect to work being dancer in the same tame, I thik that you always have to build your work.

One of my favorite thinks of Valparaiso are the lights in the night, If I live in there I could be very happy because wake up early in the morning and see the sea, the lights in the nights, have a perfect wather (with a lot of cloudy days and sea breeze), could go to the beach to think before the work of study... deffenetly I wouldn´t have stress.

I don´t know in what moment of my life I will live in Valparaiso, depending of that I would like live in Valparaiso alone, in cuple or with my family. Maby I would like more live with my couple or in family because in Valparaiso exist a lot of things to do in the night.... like in the Ecuador avenue.

Some favorites series and movies/ Post 6

"The Space, Final frontier, This are the voyages of the starship Enterprise, their mission? discover and explorer new and strangers worlds, where no man has gone before"

I am a person that really enjoy see series and movies and fortunately the people closer to me always enjoy it. All started when I had 12 years, more or less, and my mother showed me Sar Trek, I remember that I did´t hope be entertaining with that old recordings and bad special effects but before of saw the first episode I want see another... and another... and my mom also want see more and more episodes, so nobody nag me for spend all the afternoon sawing series.  Before we saw Star Trek Next Generation, the movies of this serie and Star Trek Voyager. Recently, when  my grandmother request me for my cd´s of Star Trek Next Generation I discovered that the fanaticism is hereditary.

Its necessary do a little summary of this three classic series:
-Star Trek, the original serie was premiere in 1966. The captain James T. Kirk was uncharged of the U S S Enterprise, the flagship of the United Federation of Plantes. Kirk wasn't alone, always had the support of Spok (human and vulcan), Doctor McCoy, Sulu, Uhura, Chekov and Scoty, his chief officers, pilot, traductor, etc. One curious fact  is that in this serie happen the first interracial kiss in the TV between Uhura (black woman) and Kirk (white man), when they was recording the scene make two options, one without kiss and another with kiss, but in the scene without kiss the actor of Kirk saw the camera and put his eyes twisty.

-Star Trek Next Generation. This is definitely my favorite version of Star Trek, the capitan of the flagship U S S Enterprise D, Jean Luc Picard is the wisest of the capitals that ever exist, in all the chapters you can admire and learn something of he, he is a pacifist and always had the his mind open, he was a character advanced for his edge (1987) but we have to considerate that the serie was located in the XXIV century. This serie have more complex problems, question the concepts like humanity, diplomacy, senses, rights, identity, society, relations between different species, when something is alive or not, etc. Is really interesting and all the characters, like the charismatic Worf (klingon) and Data (android) kidnap your heart.

-Star Trek Voyager is about the U S S Voyager, led for her capitan Katherine Geneway, she have to take a lot of difficult choices when the ship fall in a strange spacial anomaly and lose a lot of millions of years of the earth with another ship of rebels of the federation. All the tribulation have to learn to live together and accepts their differences for arrive home together and alive. This serie also question a lot of concepts like Next Generation but one of the most beautiful lessons is value the travel and the process that we do for get a goal in our live, the process make us grow.

Exist more series and Movies of Star Trek but I did´t saw it yet. Its important to say that this still being a yankee serie, sometimes we can find some allusions to the URSS how the "bad guys" but is unusual. Its more what this serie teach you. Now, in the vulcan style I see you goodbye.

Summer Holidays /Post5

Hi everybody

This will be one of the shortest summer holidays ever. We will finish the semester January 20th, so we only have one month and half to rest. But it doesn´t matter, as long as I get out of the faculty all will be alright.

I don´t know if I will go out of Santiago, perhaps a few days to the beach with the family of my boyfriend or to the field with my mom. If my friend Otto from Punta Arenas wins the project to finance the medieval festival at the end of February I could go there as a teacher of medieval dances with my friend Kathy for a week, maybe.

I would like go to Valle del Elqui and Coquimbo, but I doubt it because I don´t have someone who receives me so it could be expensive. I would like to go anywhere but if I could choose I would go to the north this time.  But probably most of my time will be spent in Santiago and in this case I would like go to pools with friends and drink "Melon con vino", reorganize my bedroom, change my clothing style and see my family, special the babies the little twins and lovely Shago. 

Finally, it wouldn´t be a decent vacations if I don´t eat the Porotos con Mazamorra, Humitas and Pastel de choclo of my grandmother, that is one of the best things of the summer, the corn season.

Postgraduate Studies /Post4

I really dont know yet what I want to studie after University, neither have researched deeply my optios. Even so the options that I thought are the next:

1.- (the most probable) Do the year of degree like a professor after of the postgraduate of my career. Because always is better (supposedly) get a qualification. Really I don´t want do that right now because I just want run away of that ugly building that I spend all day, bur perhaps in one year I will want do it. Sadly in this country the name "Universidad de Chile" keep being a lot of relevance.

2.- I was think about a courses in New York about of Laban Bartenieff thecniques, this kinde of knowledge give you a lot of control on your own body, this is an intensive of 6 month divided in three month of studies, another three month of free time and the last three month of the curse. I like this because in that three free month I would like do another courses of hip hop and work.

3.- Go to La Habana and make a residence with the Cuba Danza and learn the modern dance mixed with cuban african dance. I don´t know how but definitely this kinde of corporal language likes me a lot. I imagine myself working and taking this dance curses and the weekends going to the beautifull caribean beachs. Sounds like a impossible dream, but... who kwnos?

4.- Go to Europe and see what I can do, perhaps a magister in PARTS (belgica) or a recidence in the Wuppertal Theater, that is very difficult to get but would be a great things learn of the Pina Baush dancers. I was reading about the Pina Bausch scholarship and they give you a lot of money to live in Wuppertal city the six months, but this scholarship is only for 4 persons in the world each year!!. Also I could be a Stromae dancer jajaja. 

5.- Ultimately I listen about a magister of education in Sao Paulo but I don´t know more about it. Even so Brasil would be a interesting option for spend a time.

Well, this are some options that I have being think about what I´d like do after the university. Are like dreams because I don´t know how I will go to pay no one, and that obviously is important to decide. I think that probably I will do the year of degree of the university because in one year more likely I will not decide yet what I want to do, and in the same time of that year of degree I would like work in a schools as a dance teacher or another project of education and creation, like I note in the previous post. 

My Future Job /Post3

Hello dear lector

As a lot of art students i dont have any idea of what I will do after of the university, all the things are in a strange and far away imaginary. In my ideas about the future are differents options but I know some things that deffenetly I should like and anothers that it not be more pleasing for me, now i can classificate three aspects, one is work like a dance performer, another is like a dace teacher and finally like a choreographer.

After of finish the University I will try to get out of Chile and continue my studies in another place, i`ll like go to Brasil, Belgica, Cuba... I am not sure yet, but sadly in this country Europe and USA always have more importance for the old people that give you job, anyway I will try to travel for grow up like person and professional for return and share with others my learning. Also I will try to travel for dance in another places and also learn like a performer, perhaps get a good job, it would nice. If this happened i would like make a lot of money to travel to Chile followed because I am very afraid to my family and I would not like lose the important moments of my little cousines, premiums and nephews and nieces.

When I imagine myself like a dance teacher I imagine teaching a fusion between hip hop and contemporany dance. In schools, to immigrants and to childrens with disabilities, or like I prefer say to them, with special habilities. I don`t plan get a lot of money but the gains will be very big for my spirit.

When I imagine myself like a  coreographer I imagine making interdisciplinary works. I don`t know if I am a good coreographer or not but I like create so I will keep traing. In this case, if the socialism doesn`t arrive Chile yet my salary will be the Fondart, and that kinde of things, that isn`t a nice picture.

This foto is of a interdiciplinary work called Reflex, we maked between 3 dancers, 1 double bassist and 2 music composers.

Anyway, the future is for build it, perhaps I will do all this things or none but I will take the decitions that make me happie in that moments of my life.

A Country I'd Like to Visit /Post2

I would like to know a lot of places in the world, I think that my priorytis change in accordances with differents periods of my life. Today I should like to know Iceland, because once time ago I saw the documental of Sigur Ros, in this video show you a lot of wonderfull landscapes.

I know that in Iceland the weather is very cold, I like all types of environment but the extreme climates are my favorite. I know that Iceland was part of a Unanted Kindom with Norway and Denmark in the past, but then this country could be autonomy. Also I know that Iceland are meny eruptions of volcanos.

If I could go to this country I´ll find the way of be in this beautifull landscapes that i saw in the documental, and the aurorae borealis. Searching information for do this blogg also find that in Iceland exist a geothermal water complex called Blue Lagoon. 

Ill like to live, study and work in a lot of places, but Iceland isn´t my principal interest in this kinde of things, still thut all kinde of experience are welcome, so if I could be a schoolar ship or something like that I wouldn´t think twice about.

The Best Concert Ever /Post1

The best concert in my life was in 2014, I don´t remember very well in which month was it, but it was in the half of the year, Victor tells me that it was in July. 

I went to see to the amazing and incomparable Pedro Aznar, he is a lot of things, composer of music, singer, orchestral director, writer, producer, photographer, even he is a sommelier of wine in Argentina. He was born on 23 of July of 1959 and has had a successful career as a soloist mixing folk and rock music but the first 10 years of his career were dedicated to play jazz. His first album was produced in 1977 and never stopped until now, he produced an album almost every year. Another curious fact is that he is a poet and he has published several books in Argentina.

The atmosphere in the concert was intimate, maybe because I was near to him but I think that Pedro Aznar´s songs remit you to a specific place of your memories all the people in the Caupolican were in an emotional and fictitious world in the same time that we was sharing some incredible music. 

I really enjoyed the concert for many reasons, first he played a lot of The Beatles´s songs, secondly he played with a rare dispositive that made loops with the songs and record the same song but in layers, it was like he replicated himself, thirdly the music was very beautiful and the lyrics very strong to, fourthly Aznar played chilean songs of Victor Jara and Violeta Parra and fifthly he was accompanied of videos that helped to create a good atmosphere. 

To finish this post I can say that seeing Pedro Aznar live is a very good experience, I really recommend see him  because he is very dynamic on stage and he ties together with the public.
